Overview: BitPanel connects directly to your exchange via API — your funds stay in your custody while bots execute trades securely.

Step 1 — Generate API Keys

  • Kraken: API → Add Key → enable “Query” + “Trade”.
  • Coinbase Advanced: Create API key → enable “Trade”.
  • Binance: Enable “Spot Trading” only; disable “Withdrawals”.

Label keys clearly (e.g., “BitPanel-Live” or “BitPanel-Paper”).

Step 2 — Add Keys to BitPanel

Go to Settings → API Keys → Add New. Paste key + secret. Keys are encrypted at rest; never stored in plain text.

Step 3 — Validate Permissions

BitPanel performs a non-trading connectivity check. No live orders occur until you enable Live Mode.

Security Tips

  • Use IP allowlisting if supported by your exchange.
  • Rotate API keys every 60–90 days.
  • Never enable withdrawals.
Best practice: Always start in Paper Mode. Validate behavior and allocations before going live.
